UK,12mo wraps,1st edn,4th impression thus.[Complete number line 4.So,1st edn,4th impression thus.] A later impression,4 years after (2001) the 1st paperback appearance in 1997,which contained printing errors which only occured in very early printings of that edn/issue.This edn has all those errors corrected: Line 1,pp8 has high chair instead of highchair,both the half-title+title pages now with the Hogwart's school crest+motto,text copyrighted to J.K Rowling as opposed to Joanne Rowling.Although artwork by same illustrator - a slightly different design from the original,1st p/back appearance.A smaller thumbnail sketch of original artwork within a gilt-border edged square,extra gilt stars,extra gilt lettering and an extra gilt band with black ink Bloomsbury printed to it at foot of front cover and Dumbledore as an older man with a grey beard, identical thumbnail repeated to head of spine/backstrip of covers.
