The importance of Energy Storage in Energy Supply.- The Demand of Energy Storage .- The Technologies of Energy Storage.- Integration and Application of Energy Storage Solutions.

 researches and holds courses on energy storage and regenerative energy industries at Regensburg University of Applied Sciences, and develops energy storage concepts for companies and municipalities. Together with colleagues, he previously launched the Power-to-Gas storage technology, which remains his chief research interest. He is a member of the VDE and serves as an advisor to the EU Commission (DG Energy) and Germany’s federal government (BMWi). He is actively involved in coordinating the VDI, OTTI and Eurosolar energy storage conferences, and has co-authored additional books, including an IPCC Assessment Report.
