Subsuming under one cover the submerged cultural resource management concerns of two different types of Federal marine protected areas in the same region is a good practice both in a scholarly and an economical sense. Shipwrecks from certain portions of Point Reyes National Seashore were intentionally not covered in this report because they are addressed elsewhere in the series, specifically in Number 1 edited by Larry Murphy.
