His book makes a compelling case for Thrasyllus as the most important editor of Plato’s work. Indoingso, Thrasyllan Platonism unravels some enduring mysteries surrounding Platonic interpretation. -- Thrasyllus was largely responsible for dividing the Platonic corpus into tetralogies, a configuration it retains to this day.
